For most beginner-friendly accessories, no. The products we suggest (like door edge guards, valve stem caps, magnetic lights, and bumper protectors) are designed to be installed with:

Your hands (for sliding on U-channel trims).

A microfiber cloth (for cleaning the surface).

Maybe a hair dryer (to warm up 3M tape in winter for better stick).
Note: If you are wiring DRLs or hardwiring a dash cam, you will need a basic wire stripper and a multimeter, but those are cheap to buy!

Surface Prep is 90% of the job. If tape fails, it's almost always because the surface wasn't clean.

Clean: Use rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) . Soap and water leave a residue. Alcohol removes all wax and grease.

Dry: Make sure it's completely dry.

Warm it up: If it's below 60°F (15°C), use a hair dryer to warm the surface AND the tape before sticking. This activates the adhesive.

Pressure: Press firmly for 60 seconds.

Wait: Don't wash the car for 24-48 hours to let the adhesive cure.

For Door Edge Guards/Bumper Protectors: Measure the thickness of your door metal or bumper edge with a ruler. Compare it to the product's "Channel Opening" size in the description.

For Valve Stem Caps: 99% of US cars use Schrader valves (just like bicycle tires). If you have a high-end road bike, it might use a Presta valve, which is different.

For LED Strips: As long as they are flexible and 12V, they will work on any car, truck, or motorcycle.
