Pre-Cut Wrap / PPF Film Details

Our pre-cut wrap PPF is a 7.5 mil ultra-thick polyurethane film that is computer-designed and precision-cut to fit specific body panels, including bumpers, hoods, fenders, mirrors, and doors.

The film is installed using a wet-apply method, allowing repositioning during installation for better alignment and a smoother finish.

Each kit includes 28–38 pre-cut vinyl pieces, depending on the vehicle model.

WrapLabDIY Film Application Tutorial (Wet Application)

1. Rinse the surface with water, align the edges and corners, and secure the film using magnets.

2. Rinse again to confirm alignment and secure in place.

3. Repeat once more to ensure correct positioning.

4. Align the top edge, then drain water gradually from both ends.

5. Squeegee the water from top to bottom to fix the film in place.

Installation Notes

1. Use a 100:1 lubricant ratio for film surface lubrication and choose a proper installation solution.

2. Evenly spray both the paint surface and the adhesive side of the film before application to prevent ghosting.

3. When squeegeeing, overlap each pass by one-third of the previous stroke and repeat to remove all water.

4. Avoid excessive repositioning. Apply the film in one continuous motion to prevent stretching.

5. Use plenty of water during wet installation on both surfaces.

6. Lightly heat the edges and ends with a heat gun for better sealing and durability.
